What is a personal folders (. pst) file?

When you use Outlook, our mailbox data file is a file that ends with a PST suffix, usually called a Personal Folders file, and a PST is a personalstoragetable abbreviation. PST files are important to us, keeping our Outlook mail messages, calendar events, and many other project information.

Where can I find a PST file?

Open your Outlook, find the "Account Settings" dialog box, click on the "Data Files" tab, where we can see the specific information of our PST file, in this blog post I list the Outlook2010 and Outlook2007 data files in the search method:

Outlook2010: File-〉 account settings-> data file

Outlook2007: Tools-〉 option-〉 Mail settings-〉 data file

When you open the Data File tab, you can also click "Open file Location" to go directly to the PST file location, as shown below:
