The grooming process removes useless data from the Operations Manager database to maintain performance by managing the database size. It will delete the useless records. You can configure the grooming settings for the following record types:
Resolution of the alert
Event data
Performance data
Task History
Monitoring Job Data
State Change Event data
Performance signature
Maintenance Mode History
Availability History
Any updates you make to your grooming settings are immediately applied. The system never organizes active alerts. You must turn off the alert before you start organizing the alert.
