Sending of Audio and Video Streams

I would like to ask if the common practice for sending is to separate audio and video streams.
Or are audio and video merged streams sent?

If you consider real-time live broadcasting, you may need to consider losing the video package and preserving the audio package. It is better to transmit the video package separately.

Apsaravideo for VOD can be buffered without consideration of real-time performance and synchronization requirements. It is better to merge and transmit videos.

Now, you don't need to pay attention to merging stream packaging.
Extract the RTP packet at the receiving end, split the filter, and decompress the audio and video streams separately.
