Serial Communication Between Two VMware virtual machines (Ubuntu)

1) install two Ubuntu systems under one VMware instance. 2) Enable VMware, but do not enable Ubuntu. in VM-& gt; Setting ...... -& gt; click ADD to ADD the serial port, and select thisendisthesever and theotherendisthevirtualmachine. The other Ubuntu is also set, but thisendisthe is selected.

3) enter the command at the same time on the terminal of the two machines
Stty ispeed 115200 ospeed 115200-F/dev/ttyS0

4) test whether the serial ports of the two machines are connected:
Enter cat/dev/ttyS0 on
Input echo hello>/dev/ttyS0 on B
If the hello message is displayed on the terminal of A, it indicates that B → A is connected. Switch Role A and Role B and try again. If all the operations are successful, congratulations! The configuration of the virtual string line is complete.
