2. Install RedHat Linux 9.0 on a virtual machine.

Go to the Linux environment installed in the Virtual Machine (with Super Users), and the software we want to install will appear in the optical drive:
VMwareTools-5.5.0-18463.i368.rpm
And vmwarw.ls-5.5.0-18463.tar.gz
Run the command CD/mnt/CDROM to enter the directory of the optical drive. Use ls to view the two files.
Step 1: CP VMwareTools-5.5.0-18463.tar.gz/tmp, copy this file to TMP
Step 2: Run CD/tmp to enter the temporary directory, and run ls to check whether the file is in this directory.
Step 3: Tar zxvf VMwareTools-5.5.0-18463.tar.gz unzip this file
Step 4: run the second command to go To the vmware-tools-distrib directory under the tmp directory.
Step 5:./vmware-install.pl to execute this file, prompt to press Enter. Restart After installation
Finally, choose VMware> toolbar> Virtual Machine> select Settings> Option share folder.
Click Add to add a folder under Windows as prompted. In/mnt/HGFS, It is the folder you share in windows.
