The browser does not support ActiveX controls

or disable support for ActiveX controls

3, not installed designer

Viewing the add-in, you find that the add-in for Microsoft Office List 12.0 is disabled and this feature is not available.

There are some places that may also be Microsoft Office List 11.0 (This is caused by the installation of Office2003, the version is relatively low)

Then resolve the process:

1, the first installation Designer2007, because there is no office on hand, hope to be able to have a role, the results of installation has found no effect, although there are posts on the Web, designer can be installed, I think may be because of the previous installation of the Office2003, So Designer2007 does not work, if there is no Office2003 (not complete installation), there should be no problem.

2, the installation of Office2007, complete installation, after installation still not; this I am entangled, I found a virtual machine with the same problem, IE6.0 environment, did not have designer and office of anything installed, complete installation Office2007, found that this feature can be used, I think the same is because of the previous installation of Office2003 caused.

3, find the add-in, found to be dependent on a DLL under the Office12 folder, named STSLIST.DLL, trying to add an add-in with this DLL, found that the add-in can only be deleted or disabled, did not find a good way to add the add-in, so this way does not go through.

4, through the query, modify the registry, before you have seen the registry under office things, did not find anything special, but see a post, said that the registry ActiveX part of the problem, follow the prompts

Enter the registry and locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility key value

See if there is a {65BCBEE4-7728-41A0-97BE-14E1CAE36AAE} (that is, the ID number of the Microsoft List 11/12 control)

Remove it and then open the browser to troubleshoot.

Note: See the post people say do not know why some machines have this key value, some machines do not, I think it should be installed Office or designer problem, always install Office products problem.
