SharePoint User Profile Services Application (3) create mysite and sharepointmysite

After creating the User Profile Service Application, you can prepare to create the MySite.

To create a MySite, you must first create a My Site Host Site Collection. Generally, a separate WebApplication is created to store My Site for ease of management.

After the Web Application is created, you need to create a Site Collection of the MySite Host type. You only need to select the correct template when creating the Site Collection.

Then open the management page of the User Profile Service Application, and click Set up my site:

On this page, enter the URL of the My Site Host you just created:

After that, click the login name in the upper-right corner and click "About Me". The following page is displayed, indicating that My site is being created.

Refresh the page after a while. The following page is displayed, showing links such as Newsfeed and Blog on the left, indicating that My Site has been created.
