SharePoint website configuration tips-do not display online web parts library when adding Web parts

When adding a Web part, you can select four sources by default. The online web part library depends on the web of the SharePoint website. the <onlinelibrary url = "http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/hlidAwsGallery"/> section specified in the config configuration file gets online webparts (typically MSNBC Web parts that display news, stocks, and weather information ), if you do not use this online web part library in actual use, you can hide it to avoid interference to users, the procedure for hiding this item is as follows (this configuration option is located at the virtual server level. By default, users can use the online web part library. If there are multiple servers in the server farm environment, to modify these settings for all virtual servers, you must configure these options for the virtual servers on each server in the server farm ):
1. On the Sharepoint Server, click Start, point to administrative tools, and then click SharePoint management center ".
2. on the Windows SharePoint Services Management page, click Configure virtual server settings ".
3. On the "virtual server list" page, click the virtual server to be configured.
4. On the "virtual server settings" page, click "manage security settings on the Web parts page ".
5. select the option to be enabled or disabled, and click OK ".
