Size analysis of full-screen flash

With the current popularity of widescreen displays, Flash Full-screen mode, more and more need to take into account the difference between the Pu monitor and widescreen display.

Flash Full-screen mode has the following features:

1, the window to maximize, and the top display;

2, in the default (Flash content automatic scaling) state, the SWF file to maintain the aspect ratio to scale, until wide, high one of the first to reach the screen size.

3, when the screen aspect ratio and SWF file aspect ratio is not at the same time, will display the Flash stage area outside content.

According to these characteristics, we produced flash in full screen playback has the following effect: Because the generated SWF file's aspect ratio is fixed, but the client display resolution is various, will cause the flash stage area outside the content to appear in some client monitor screen. When the SWF file is a narrow scale, in the widescreen monitor, the left and right side of the stage area will appear outside the content, when the SWF file is a wide scale, in a narrow-screen display, the upper and lower sides of the stage area will appear outside the content.

Here are two conceptual areas: "Security zone" and "Maximum display area." What we call the "security zone" here is similar to the security zone for video production, which is that the SWF file is completely positioned in the monitor screen regardless of the display resolution. All of our content must be in this "security zone" so that all clients can see this part of the information in order to avoid the omission of information. and "Security zone" content, you need to fill the content-independent decoration background, to ensure that the overall aesthetic effect of the resolution. The maximum area that the content outside the security zone can display at a certain resolution is the maximum display area. Why do we have to set these two areas? " Security Zone "ensures that all content is not displayed on the screen when making flash, and that the maximum display area guides us in making the fill background size."

With the above analysis, we should first set out the two areas: "Security zone" and "Maximum display area" before designing a Full-screen Flash animation. "Security Zone" is the stage area of Flash, with a wide stage or narrow stage, depending on the needs of the project; Maximum display area "according to your stage aspect ratio: if it is wide stage, the" Maximum display area "and the stage with the width of the upper and lower extension; if it is a narrow stage, the" Maximum display area "and the stage with the same height of the expansion.

Below we take the narrow stage as an example to do analysis:

Our common display resolution can be divided into: 4:3 (1024x768), 5:4 (1280x1024), 16:9, 16:10. The larger the aspect ratio, the wider the display area, and the four kinds of common aspect ratios, 5:4 narrowest, 16:9 widest, so we use 5:4 as a narrow stage "security zone" aspect ratio, its "Maximum display area" must meet the widest display resolution, that is, 16:9 for the narrow stage corresponding to the "Maximum display area" aspect ratio, 4:3 and 16:10 resolution Monitor can meet our display requirements.

In a narrow stage, the "safe zone" and "Maximum display area" have the same height, so the height of the 5:4 and 16:9 LCM is 36, their corresponding widths are 45 and 64, and the two aspect ratios can be converted to 45:36 and 64:36. When the stage size is set by a narrow stage:

Maximum display area width = stage width x (64/45)

Equally available:

When the stage size is set by a wide stage standard: The maximum display area height = stage height x (64/45).
