Kiwi syslog is a Windows-based log server belonging to SolarWinds, I believe some friends have used SolarWinds management software, the function is very powerful, interested friends can on their official website to understand http://www.solarwinds.cn.

Today we mainly talk about the syslog server, the Internet can also search for a considerable number of tutorials, but only to save the log as a file. I am using the software version for 8.1.6 (has been used for many years, the setup is simpler) and 8.3.7 (the web has cracked version, set slightly more complex, this version for example)

1. After the installation is complete, click File, Setup to open the Settings screen. There are two items on the right side of the formatting, the custom file formats is the format saved as a text document, and the custom DB formats is the format to save the settings to the database. 7. The settings under the "Connection" column are as follows: The first step is to enter the server name of the database, the second step is to enter the service library's account number and password, and the third step is to select the database (you need to create an empty database in advance). Click "Test Connection" to prompt the database connection is successful, click "OK" to return.
