SpagoBI series----------[01]spagobi Introduction and installation Steps

Business Intelligence Suite SpagoBI provides a Java EE-based framework for managing open-source BI products for BI objects such as reports, OLAP analysis, dashboards, scorecards, and data mining models. It provides the BI manager with the ability to control, verify, validate, and distribute these BI objects. SpagoBI features include support for portal, report, OLAP, QbE, ETL, Dashboard, document management, meta Data management, data mining, and geo-information analysis.

1. Install the JDK and configure the Java environment variables

As of 2015.08.12, the latest version is: Jdk-8u51-windows-x64.exe

2, Installation SpagoBI (official website: http://spagobi.eng.it/)

As of 2015.08.12, the latest version is: SpagoBI 5.1 "All-in-one-spagobi-5.1-21012015.zip"

Uncompressed after download,

Configure the System environment variable: catalina_home, the path is (the directory after decompression) D:\SpagoBI\All-In-One-SpagoBI-5.1.0_21012015

3, find the Spagobistartup.bat file in SpagoBI folder bin, double click to jump out of Tomcat window, HSQLDB window

4, enter the Http://localhost:8080/SpagoBI in the browser to enter the main interface
