SQL Server data Tools is a free-to-download, now-xxx hair tool for building SQL server relational databases, Azure SQL databases, Integration Services packages, Analysis Services data models, and Reporting Services reports. With SSDT, you can design and deploy any type of SQL Server content, just as easily as developing an application in Visual Studio.

SSDT 15.5.2 is a SQL Server database, Analysis Services, Reporting services, and integration S in Visual Studio 2017 15.5 or later A standalone Web installation experience for ervices projects.

Important
Before you install SSDT for Visual Studio 2017 (15.5.2), uninstall the Microsoft Analysis Services Project and Microsoft Reporting Service that are installed on VS 2017 S project "extension and close all instances of VS.
The non-English version of SSDT for Visual Studio 15.5.x does not support upgrading from 15.4.0 English preview, so you must uninstall the 15.4.0 English Preview before you install additional language versions of 15.5.x.
