Interactive Sorting
In the process of viewing data, sorting actions are unavoidable in order to quickly identify specific information and confirm the relative size of the data. However, different analysts face different usage habits and analysis purposes, and report data must be sorted in ascending or descending order with different fields. SSRS provides a handy "interactive sort" feature that allows the user to specify field collations in the report, as long as the interactive Sort tab in the Properties window is set.
Interactive Sort Example
Step 1 :
First, make a sales report (in ProductCategory as a group), showing both the sales amount and the quantity sold. Right-click the "Sales Amount" header and select "Text box Properties ...". Tick "Enable Interactive sorting on this text box" and click "Groups" in the Sort area and select the "Productcategory_name" group from the drop-down menu.

Step 2 :
Next, in the "Sort by" input "=sum (fields! Sales_amt. Value) ", note that since our sort is based on" Groups "rather than detailed data, you must not directly select" Sales_amt "Using the drop-down menu directly. Value ", otherwise the system will be sorted according to the amount of sales in the detail (based on a single pen) rather than the sum of the sales amounts for the group (based on the group totals), resulting in a sort error.

Step 3 :
Preview the report when you're done, and you'll see two small triangles appear at the header you just set, and the data will automatically switch to ascending or descending order as soon as you click. In addition to sorting within a data region, if a dataset is shared by multiple different data regions, it can also be a reason to grieve the ability to synchronize interactive sorting to synchronize different data regions that share the same dataset. This feature is mostly used for interaction between data tables/matrices and icons.
