Microsoft SQL server reporting service step by step
I have been reading MICROSOFT for two days. I think MICROSOFT's book has something in common: easy to understand and easy to understand the software framework;
For example, for Reporting Service, authoring reports ----> manage reports -----> delivering reports, the detail of each step can be further understood by yourself, but the three steps are mastered, you have mastered the simple design of OLTP and OLAP, of course, based on your T-SQL and MDX level
It took two hours today to use the step by step example on my usual Bill Report, a Report used to display oltp. It is often called flatten report, and one for displaying OLAP, this is the so-called MultiDimension Report. However, the difference between the two is not very big. The key lies in the data source selection. However, I guess I still did not understand the depth of Report Service2008, because there is no specific technical difference between the two reports;
The following figure shows the mileage of a table:
The first one (from the multi-dimensional data set Capital lira, including year-on-year comparison and period-over-period comparison data)
Chapter 2 (OLTP Report manager)
Third, the REPORTS
Summary:
The report service of SQL server 2005 and SQL SERVER 2008 has different INSTANCE representations:
The report server of SQL SERVER 2005 uses $ as the INSTANCE separator;
The report server of SQL SERVER 2008 uses _ as the INSTANCE separator;
Two easy WEB addresses: (SQL server 2008)
1. http: // 127.0.0.1: 8080/ReportServer_SQLSERVER2008 (SQLSERVER2008 is the instance name)
This WEB is used to present REPORTS to end users;
2. http: // 127.0.0.1: 8080/Reports_SQLSERVER2008 (SQLSERVER2008 is the instance name)
This WEB is dedicated to report manager for REPORT management.
