Symantec Backup provides a way to migrate jobs to another server. CHM Document information is as follows:

Backup Exec allows you to copy all jobs created on the media server (including backup, report, and utility jobs), select lists, and policies to the same media server or other media server.

To copy a job, picklist, or policy to another media server, you must install the Replication server Configuration feature.

After you select the items you want to copy and the media server to which you want to copy these items, the Operation queues. The default timeout is five minutes, and if the transfer is not completed within five minutes, the transmission is terminated and an alert is issued. The queue checks the replication job every 60 seconds, and then sends all queued replication jobs.

Backup Exec sends an alert containing the success or failure status of the job, as well as a log file that allows you to view the results. The job log for the copy to Media server job is not displayed with the other job logs in the job history.
