Synchronize Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone with Vista

Recently it was quite cool. I first bought the Orange SPV c600 (that is, dopod 5.0) preinstalled with Windows Mobile 595. Thanks to vitamin C. NET; then, I installed my own Ben, Windows Vista R2 (Build5744), and Office 2007 Beta 2, which was completely conquered.

The next question is how to synchronize the Smartphone with the PC. Sync Center can only be used for synchronization, while Windows Mobile Device Center can only set the connection mode. I searched the internet and found two solutions, which are now recorded for your reference. (Both methods are based on RC1 .)

 

Method 1 -- modify the Registry

Add the following key to the Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ WHOS, and then update Windows. However, this method was not successfully tested.

 

Method 2-install Mobile Device Center separately

Download Mobile Device Center Beta 3 from the following. After installation, connect to Smartphone with USB, and the Mobile Device Center will automatically run. This method has been tried successfully.
