Syslog-ng+syslog collecting Tomcat logs (i)

Environment:

Log Collection server: syslog-ng_v3.3.7

Tomcat client: Syslog + Tomcat

Interference:

1. Shut down the firewall and selinux for ease of debugging.

#service iptables Stop//stop firewall #chkconfig iptables off//boot does not start #service iptables status//view firewall status

The firewall has stopped running.

2. Change selinux=enforcing to selinux=disabled

#vi/etc/selinux/config#setenforce 0//temporarily off #/usr/sbin/sestatus-v//view seliux status

It's closed.

3. The system is installed by default Rsyslog will have 514 port conflict, uninstall or deactivate, this is deactivated.

#yum install-y Syslog-ng
