ThinkPad e431 wireless network card cannot be enabled
Phenomenon reproduction:
ThinkPad e431 new machine, original Win8 system, use win7 disc for win7 system, official download driver, after installation wireless Internet access normal.
Click function software access connections to disable "wireless communication", such as location:
After you click Close, the wireless network card cannot be started.
If you try to enable wireless connection by using the F8 or FN + F8 key, no response is returned.
Re-install the driver, restart, and the fault persists.
I found the answer on Lenovo's official website:
There are two wireless settings in the BIOS:
1. BIOS--CONFIG--NETWORK, set all options to enabled and on
2, BIOS--SECURITY--I/O point, set wireless to enabled, press FN F10 to save
After the settings are complete, restart the computer and the wireless connection returns to normal.
Summary:
The access connections settings cause BIOS changes. enable wireless Internet access again. You need to reset the BIOS options.
