ThinkPad E555 advertised 500GB is actually only 465.75GB

Today, I was ThinkPad E555 advertised 500GB to the Thunder, and will never buy any ThinkPad products or similar to the description of the actual inconsistent products.

Notebook box on the specifications of "500GB hard disk", but in Computer Management-Disk Management, disk 0 size is only 465.75GB.

Running to find sales people, they said, now domestic notebooks are like this, and even seems to 12315 agree with their claims.

What do they have to do with me? The operating system or some backup disk uses some capacity, but I mean the total capacity of a physical disk, not what logical disk they are talking about.

I used the most primitive WMIC diskdrive to find the hard disk size is 500105249280, and then I except three 1024 after that

500105249280/(1024*1024*1024) =465.75

The theory of their salesmen is that Lenovo is doing propaganda and it has nothing to do with them.

However, what I do not understand is that I previously bought any brand of server or desktop hard disk or mobile hard disk, if the marked 1t,windows system shows that the disk is also 1 T, has never appeared to display 0.75T.

Then, when I talk to my friends, they can understand Lenovo's branding. I immediately asked them if they bought an apple notebook, if the specification is written on 500G, the system inside the disk size shows whether it is 500G.

So, if Lenovo is really doing business like this, I can only say that I am too disappointed.

I would like to support domestic goods, but I would prefer them to act in good faith.

If our countrymen are so careless and casual, what hope we have. Lenovo is not a technology company, why even such technical details will be mistaken.
