Ti dvsdk on omap3530 use devkit8000 (5)

Git will soon be finished. At first glance, it is the 2.6.25 kernel, which is quite new.

 

The first step is to build the kernel. There is no problem. Select the default configuration file of devkit8000 and build it.

 

Then download and run the command to see that the startup to startkerel is no longer dynamic, think about the machine ID problem, then enter the Kernel configuration, open the debug option, in the files under ARCH/ARM/tools, find the ID of devkit8000, change it to 2001, re-build, start, and start.

 

The following error message is displayed:

 

Omapfb: failed to allocate framebuffer
Omapfb: failed to allocate fbmem
Omapfb: failed to setup omapfb
Omapfb: Probe of omapfb failed with error-12

 

At the end, there were also problems with driver loading, remembering that the driver should be re-compiled.

 

Then build and make cmem in the dvsdk and find an error. An operation function related to DMA is redefined in the kernel after 34.

 

The final solution is to download a new linuxutil package from Ti to replace the package in the dvsdk and compile it.
