Turn off the Quick Start boot feature in Windows 8?

A setting that helps a computer to start faster when it is turned off after a quick start. Windows saves system information to a file when it shuts down to achieve a quick start. When you start your computer again, Windows uses the system information to restore your computer, rather than restarting it.

The Quick Start setting does not apply to reboot. You need to shut down and then start the computer again to quickly start the operation. By default, Quick Launch in Windows is enabled.

Operation Steps:

1, in the System desktop, left click on the lower right corner of the system with the "Battery" icon, the following interface, select more "Power Options";

2, pop-up "Power Options" interface, as shown in the following figure, click "Select the function of the power button";

3, in the pop-up interface, found that some of the options can not be changed, first click "Change currently unavailable settings," as shown in the following figure,

4, in the following interface, the previously unavailable options can be changed, you can see the "Enable Quick Launch (recommended)" option (System by default), we can set this to turn on or off this feature.
