Real-time preview means a preview of the document effect that displays the feature when the mouse hovers over different feature options in a Word 2010 document. For example, when you set the text color, select the text and point to the color options, the Word document will display the final effect in real time, and the mouse pointer will return to its original appearance, as shown in Figure 2011120201.

Word 2010 enables real-time preview by default, and the steps to turn on and off the live preview feature in Word 2010 are as follows:
Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window, click the file → options command, and so on, as shown in Figure 2011120202.

Step 2nd, open the Word Options dialog box, select or cancel the Enable Live Preview check box on the General tab to turn on or off the live preview feature. Click the OK button when you finish setting, as shown in Figure 2011120203.
