Download Elasticsearch installation package

Curl-l-O https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/elasticsearch/elasticsearch-5.0.0.tar.gz

Copy the installation package to the destination directory

Installation

Run

Note that the root user cannot run Elasticsearch and needs to switch to a normal user.

Give normal users the appropriate permissions

Run Elasticsearch

Stop running

Default: Elasticsearch binds to 127.0.0.1. Can be set by binding to host IP

vm.max_map_count=524288 write directly to/etc/sysctl.conf, then execute sysctl-p
