Ubuntu Virtual Machine Installation

Use Ubuntu10.04lts mirroring.

After the installation is complete, configure the domestic update source first

Because there is no vim available by default, the text visualization is first edited with Gedit.

Update and upgrade are required, otherwise the following error will be reported:

Reading Package Lists ... Donebuilding dependency Tree         is was missing, has been obsoleted, or   is from another source

So, update and upgrade first:

sudo apt-get  updatesudo apt-get Upgrade

An error message similar to "Wick" will be reported at update time and can be ignored. And then into the long waiting upgrade.

[later found, without upgrade, after the direct update, you can install the tools you need, such as vim, git, etc.]

sudo apt-get install git

sudo apt-get install vim

Upgrade will update some of the common fundamentals and dependencies.
