Ubuntu installation, ubuntu
There are many Ubuntu installation tutorials. The following is a reference method for successful installation: ubuntu installation graphic tutorial
Tools to be prepared:
- Ubuntu Image
- 2GU Disk
- Computer
- Win32DiskImager (used to write an image to a USB flash drive)
First, download the image: Ubuntu 32 & 64-bit official Simplified Chinese version 15.04
Download Win32DiskImager
Key Step: Write the image into a USB flash drive and make it into a boot disk. Some tutorials use UltraISO. I don't know if other users can use it. After I finish it, when the USB flash drive is started, the following prompt will be displayed: "failed to load ldlinux. c32"
- Start Win32DiskImager and select Image
- Write Image
- After that, you can restart your computer.
Next, you can follow the ubuntu installation tutorial.
Suggestion:
- Many tutorials are recommended in Chinese (for Chinese reasons). However, I personally recommend that you install the English version. You can understand all the advantages !!
- The system requires that the root directory (/) and the swap directory be enough, but it is best to separate/usr,/boot, and/etc. Otherwise, all are in the root directory.
- Functions of Linux Directories

- /Boot: boot partition, about MB.
- /Usr: installer Directory, which is better

- /: 20 GB
- /Usr: 50 GB
- /Boot: 200 M
- Swap: 4G
