  • Install the reason, because need to have the desktop operation, the server configures the VNC to be possible.
  • Already implemented on Ubuntu 14.04.
  • Install first-off software
    sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop gnome-panel gnome-settings-daemon metacity nautilus gnome-terminalsudo apt-get install vnc4server
  • Run the Vncserver, please.
  • The following files are available after the run is finished
    vim  ~/.vnc/xstartup#!/bin/shxsetroot -solid greyvncconfig -iconic &gnome-session &gnome-panel &gnome-settings-gaemon &metacity &nautilus &gnome-terminal &
  • Start:
    vncserver -geometry 1280x1024// 这里会出现 一个 用户名:1 // 这个 1 就是 登录时候的  192.168.4.172:1
  • Download VNC client inside Windows
    ： https://www.realvnc.com/en/connect/download/viewer/
