At first, there was a time limit for the last day. New users can listen to music for free for the first six months since their account registration. However, this limit depends on your region, however, all free accounts now have unlimited access to music. Any user who listens to music using the Ubuntu Desktop client does not have to listen to music for the free account.

Any user who uses the Ubuntu Desktop client to listen to music has no restrictions on the previous free account to listen to music, Ubuntu users can use their favorite desktop operating system to enjoy free music.
If you are a little excited but haven't installed the latest version, there is a quick way to guide you how to install the latest version on Ubuntu.
Some regions do not support registration. Users in these regions must try other methods (Note: agents are required) because not all countries support such registration. The following figure shows the list of countries currently supported by Apsara stack:
Install Ubuntu
To install the software repository on Ubuntu, open the terminal and enter the following command to add the software repository to Ubuntu.
sudo apt-add-repository -y "deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free"
Next, add the shengtian repository key to Ubuntu and run the following command:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 94558F59
Finally, update the software package repository of the system and run the following command to install the Repository:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install spotify-client
That's easy!
After the installation is complete, you need to open the Ubuntu panel and find the software in it. After opening it, enjoy your free music!
