UI is not just a UI, ui is not just

One night, I was notified to go To the Sanhe class to listen to the UI class. I remember that the class was also mentioned last year, jie mainly introduces a UI rule designed by foreigners (UI is mainly designed by foreigners or by foreigners ~~ \ (-O -)/~). Although some of the places introduced by Yong xiaxiao this year refer to the UI designed by foreigners, it gives me the feeling that I am more close to my life and study. (although we have not become a standard, we have made rapid progress !!! O (worker _ worker) O)

I have not studied the UI, but compared with the entire program, the interface is still the most intuitive and accessible. this is my feeling of using other software as a user, but now the goal is to develop a user-oriented interface as a developer.

Let alone the functions and functions of the software, or let the user choose from software with similar functions.

You are one of the most competitive. How can you choose your software without hesitation?

Smooth start for users

Actually, if the user chooses you, it will bring you money. So what is the premise?

This article is a summary of the meeting, so I will not analyze anything very deep. Let's start with my experience as a user.

Start with Requirement

Some software is started from registration, such as IM instant messaging tools.

(Here is a comparison chart)

From this analysis, if the registration page is selected, I will definitely select the one with fewer ones. Why?

Because it is relatively simple, I can fill in fewer things and do what I want most as soon as possible. instead of spending a lot of time registering, if I am a "Computer idiot", more operations will make me hate your software.

Well, of course there are also a lot of portal-based software. You can check the content first, just like this.

Oh, how do you feel? Which one is your favorite?

I believe that, if you think of me like this, every day sitting in front of the computer, there are too many times every day on the Internet to find information or browse news. A lot of complicated things can no longer ripple. our goal is clearer and less cumbersome. therefore, I will give priority to simple and purposeful websites for use and browsing.

Optimization from the interface

In the information age, there are always a few software that you use habitually, but they are not static, and they are constantly optimized according to users' usage habits. one of our most familiar examples is the change in windows over the years. The first time I used a computer, I used the school's big data machine in elementary school. At that time, I thought the interface was already cool, you can also operate images in text. Later, winXP, win7, win8, and win8.1 were used. I felt that the changes on the interface were huge, and the corresponding office software industry was changing.

The software we use now tends to look at similar frameworks, such as the menu bar, toolbar, search bar, navigation bar, and main interface. There is always a combination of them that you like.

When it comes to details, it is a specific function, which can be planned in terms of control selection and unified layout. I personally think the ideal layout should be simple, with distinct primary and secondary features and reasonable functional distribution.

From long term considerations

When a user uses your software, it does not mean that you can rest assured that the world of the software is changing, and the user's needs are changing in line with the development of the times. As a developer, you must consider the long term, this allows users to continue and fall in love with your software.

User-friendly design

Grasping user psychology

I don't think of new software as a new thing, but I use the software I used in the past to measure whether new software meets my habits.

For example, the two simplest shortcut keys are ctrl + c and ctrl + v. Copy and paste are two frequently used shortcut keys. If a new software becomes and opens a new window, it is very different from my usage habits.

Another way is to reverse users' habits. After all, the computer world is different from the real world. For example, in the real world, people's habit is to make full use of a piece of paper, so that they will use a lot of it and reduce the proportion of blank space. However, computers are different. Compared with physical paper, it is like an infinite number. It can leave a larger proportion of space for simplicity and topic highlighting.

(For example ,)

Nowhere to go, nowhere to go

I think this concept is great. Why?

Now the software is becoming more and more powerful, more and more functions can be completed, and more intelligent, give me the feeling that this software can simulate a lot of real-world things, it is like being independent from the interface, form, and other factors. As long as I have to perform operations, I can do what I want to do.

(Here is an example .)

Nowhere to learn

The following is my learning experience. No matter what you hear or what you see, you can get a lot of ideas and inspiration if you use and learn to organize connections. It is helpful for learning.

Each of the above is not only the accumulation of life experience, but also an effective way to learn knowledge.

I believe UI is just not UI, learning is notjust learning.
