UMD file editor for mobile phone ebook

Some time ago I made my own mobile phone e-books and found that the popular mbookmaker on the Internet is not very easy to use, so I wanted to do it myself.

I searched the internet and did not find the description of the UMD file format. So I decompiled the mbookmaker and checked the file format. After a great deal of effort, I made it out. Currently, the first version is released. The main functions include:

Create an UMD file;
Open and edit the UMD file;
Save the UMD file content as a text file;
Automatically create UMD files based on text files, and automatically create chapters based on keywords;
Text can be automatically formatted, such as deleting empty lines or disconnected lines;
Attackers can open unauthorized files.

The development idea of tools using plug-ins is still quite scalable. The next step is to create UMD directly based on files such as CHM and PDF, which is a bit difficult to implement.

I haven't been here for several years. I haven't made any changes since mybookmaker was released in. The main reason is that I have basically stopped blogging. In addition, I have not used Nokia mobile phones in recent years, there is also a lack of motivation to improve the program.

A few days ago, I received an email from an enthusiastic friend and gave some suggestions to the program. I was very touched. I thought that I had changed the program for a while during the New Year's Day, mainly in the following aspects:

1. Supports file association. When you double-click an UMD file, the software is automatically started to open the UMD file;
2. added the default working directory function;
3. You can drag a TXT or UMD file to the main window to automatically open the file;
4. Multiple TXT files can be opened and merged into the same UMD file;
5. Solved the abnormal problem of the cursor sometimes;
6. solved the problem of importing a TXT file. When a chapter is automatically created, only the following 10 chapters can be created;
7. optimized the performance problem of deleting empty rows, and deleted all empty rows in one chapter at a time.
8. When saving the UMD file as a text file, the encoding option is added, allowing you to select TXT encoding.

9. changed some minor bugs related to the interface...
