Unisys signs the Linux alliance cooperation agreement

Linuxaid.com.cn site latest information: the famous enterprise Unisys recently signed a cooperation agreement with another famous enterprise SAS. In addition, Unisys intends to join osdl (Open Source development labs) to seek to play a greater role in the Linux field.

According to the cooperation agreement between the two parties, Unisys and SAS will jointly sell 64-bit software products for Linux. One of the software can help sellers collect various useful information, including customers' purchasing habits.

The software will run on the Unisys es7000 server. The latter uses two Intel itanium 2 processors.
