Update a hardware driver in Windows 8

Fault symptom:
Use Windows Update to Update the hardware driver in Windows 8.
Cause analysis:

In some special circumstances, we can use the Update feature provided by Windows to Update the hardware driver. Of course, the computer needs to connect to the Internet normally, and we can Update the driver updates of some known hardware, or update the driver of the unknown hardware.
Note: if conditions permit, use the hardware driver provided by the hardware vendor first.
This situation also applies to Windows Server (2008, 2012) and other Server systems to update or install the driver.

Solution:

Prerequisites: the computer needs to be connected to the Internet.
In a traditional desktop scenario, right-click the mouse pointer to the lower left corner (or use Win + X keys) and select "Device Manager" from the menu ";

Find the driver you want to update in the Device Manager. In this example, right-click the device name and select "update driver software", as shown in the following figure:

In the new window that appears, select "automatically search for updated driver software" to automatically check and Update the driver on Windows Update;

If a new version of the driver is available, the system downloads, installs, and updates the driver. When the Update is complete or the driver is already the latest version of Windows Update, the following message is displayed, click close.
