Update the kernel and view and delete the old kernel

Update kernel : yum-y update

View the name of the old kernel : Rpm-qa|grep kernel
Delete old kernel : yum-y Remove * * * * * * the kernel name
For example:

Kernel-headers-3.6.7-4.fc16.x86_64
Kernel-3.4.9-2.fc16.x86_64
Libreport-plugin-kerneloops-2.0.10-3.fc16.x86_64

Yum-y Remove kernel-3.4.9-2.fc16.x86_64

You can disable the Yum process by forcing :
#rm-F/var/run/yum.pid
Then you can use the Yum.
