Upgrade graphics driver to solve the phenomenon of the notebook watching the film card machine

1. See if the driver is properly installed

Query that Intel HD 3000 graphics chips using 32nm technology, and built-in high-definition decoder, can support MPEG2, VC1 and H.264 hardware coding, can play the perfect 1080P high-definition movies. The author found that the factory pre-installed Intel General graphics driver, although not to affect the use, but the GPU core frequency only 650MHz, high-definition decoding and 3D performance greatly compromised, the solution is to install the core™ I Series CPU display driver (Figure 1).

2. The effect is obvious after the upgrade drive

After installing the system, the GPU core frequency also accelerates from 650MHz to 1300MHz, and the support of DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0 is increased, and video fluency increases significantly when you play high-definition movies again.

3, open HD hardware acceleration

If you see the HD movie will also card, should be not turned on high-definition hardware acceleration features. Take storm audio and video as an example, after running the software, right-click the software interface and select the "Advanced Options" menu (Figure 2). Switch to the HD tab and check the "Enable acceleration by default when playing HD Files" checkbox (Figure 3).

4, Custom HD acceleration scheme

Then click the "Detailed Setup" button and select "Storm Audio Solution" from the Drop-down menu (Figure 4). If you want to customize the HD scheme, you can also click the "New" button under the "Accelerated Scheme Configuration", and then configure the HD decoding scheme as needed (Figure 5), click the "Save" button, and return to the "Comprehensive settings" interface to select the scheme.

5, increase the Dolby Surround sound

If your notebook supports Dolby Surround sound, it is recommended that you switch to the speakers Options page and then check the Dolby Surround sound checkbox (Figure 6) so that you can hear a more powerful background sound when you are watching HD movies.
