1. First, you should log on to the official website of the corresponding brand product to find and download the firmware upgrade program for the corresponding model of the router device.

2. Click "Product Center"/"wireless network product" hyperlink on the website page, and find the router device of the Target Model on the corresponding link page, of course, because there are many models, it may be difficult to search directly on the page.

3. At this time, we can also enter the specific product model directly in the "Product Search" on the official website homepage. For example, here we can enter the vro model used, click "Search" to quickly find the target vro from the official website.

4. Click the target vro product to go to the corresponding product page, and then click the "Download" tab to go To the tag page, on this page, we can see many version upgrade programs.

5. Before officially downloading the program, we also need to ensure that the target Download file matches the specific model and hardware version of the local router device. Otherwise, the router upgrade operation will fail.

6. Generally, the hardware version information of the router device can be found directly from the card of the router device. For example, the vro model used in the local network is N300, if the hard disk version number of the router device is V4, click the "N300GV4 Upgrade Program" hyperlink on the tab page, then download the corresponding router Upgrade Program and save it to the hard disk of the local computer.

7. After downloading the router Upgrade Program, we can use the network cable to directly connect the workstation with the router Upgrade Program.

9. In the computer system, run the IE browser program and enter the default IP address of the router device in the address box of the browser (this address can often be obtained directly from the operation manual of the router device, generally, the default address is 192.168.1.1). Click the Enter key to go to the background logon page of The vro device. on this page, enter the account name and password of the system administrator, click OK to go to The vro device background management interface.

10. In the left-side area of the Management Interface, click system tools/software upgrade with the mouse. On the right-side display page of the corresponding software upgrade option, we will not only see the current hardware and software versions of the router device, but also see two text boxes. In the TFTP Server IP address text box, we can directly enter the IP addresses in the computer here, in the "file name" text box, copy and paste the "bin" file name in the temporary folder on your computer.

11. After confirming that the above information is correctly set, click the "Upgrade" button on the corresponding page, so that the router system will automatically perform the firmware version upgrade operation; if no unexpected occurs during the router upgrade process, the router system will automatically restart after a while, so that the router upgrade task will be successfully completed.

When we use a router device for networking, if a similar router device crashes or the network is frequently dropped, we can consider a router upgrade to promptly correct the BUG of the router system, make sure that the router works more efficiently.
