<---------------->u Disc Dual system installation WIN7 and Ubuntu:
1. General idea: First install the WIN7 and leave the Ubuntu space. Then install Ubuntu at WIN 7 under U disk

2. References:
1) Ubuntu12.04lts version operating system:
Http://releases.ubuntu.com/12.04/ubuntu-12.04.5-desktop-i386.iso (32-bit)

2) Win7 and Ubuntu dual system USB Drive installation process reference (very good):

3) Other two application software used:
EASYBCD: Displays the Ubuntu startup selection after the system installation is successful
UltraISO: Used to burn the ISO image of Ubuntu into a USB drive, making the U disk an installation disk

<-----------------> Specific installation process
The important step is three steps: 5.  7.8. The installation process can be done in about 40 minutes.
1. Burn an Ubuntu image to your USB flash drive or disc and burn it to a USB flash drive with UltraISO (soft disk pass)
2. Select Language Simplified Chinese
3. Select Install Ubuntu
4. Please tick all options including the last option (install this third-party software).
5. This step is important, please select the third: other options (create and adjust partitions yourself)
6. Partition Ubuntu into this free space. Create four partitions, which are root directory/partition, Swap,/home,/boot.
Note:/partition is the file system partition of Linux system, similar to Windows system disk, such as C drive; swap for swap partition; /boot is boot partition 200M sufficient;/home for personal document partitioning
1) boot partition "/boot" 200M enough,
2) system Partition "/" Install system and software 20GB enough,
3) Swap partition "swap" is similar to the virtual memory of windows, generally not much more than the physical memory on the line.
4) Personal file Partition "/home" how big you want to be, "My Documents" like windows

7. The specific partitioning process:
Important NOTE: When installing Ubuntu partition with U-disk, all disks must be set to logical partition, including root directory/partition, otherwise it will not be possible to continue partitioning, this is the lesson that I experienced personally, remember.
Note: The swap partition is to be used to select the swap partition, while the other is the EXT4 log file system.
A total of four partitions, the author partition as follows, more reasonable:
1)/partition: Select "Logical Partition",
New partition Capacity: Enter the size of the allocation, in megabytes
Location of new partition: By default Select "Start"
Used to: Select the file system used by the new partition later, using the default "EXT4 log File System"
mount point: Select/. Size 10G (can vary by individual)

2) Create Swap space
Type of new partition: Select logical partition
New partition Capacity: Enter the size of the swap space allocation, in megabytes
Location of new partition: By default Select "Start"
For: Select "Swap Space" (important, which is different from several other areas)
Swap space does not select mount point, so the mount point is gray and not selectable
I suggest swap partition 512M

3) Create a "/home" Partition
Type of new partition: Logical partition
New partition Capacity: Remaining space
Location of new partition: Start
For: Select "EXT4 log File System"
Mount point:/home.

4) Create the "/boot" partition
Type of new partition: Logical partition
New partition Capacity: 200M location of new partition: Start
For: Select "EXT4 log File System"
mount point:/boot.

8. Set the partition, the next step is very key!!!
Install the device that starts the boot area drop-down option box select the area that you must select to be divided into/boot
Final language selection: Shanghai, keyboard layout: English, American

9. After the removal of the USB flash drive reboot, you will find the direct access to your Windows system, because we have its boot into the/boot partition. Use EASYBCD to create a boot-time selection system that is Windows or Ubuntu.
10. Open EASYBCD,
1) Select Add new entry,
2) Select Linux/bsd,
3) Name this line casually fill in, write Ubuntu 12.04 Lts,
4) This line of device selects the "/boot" partition of the 200MB that we have just created, with the Linux tag in front
5) Add entry

11. When you do not want Ubuntu, directly in the window Disk Management Delete its partition, and then delete its boot in the EASYBCD line, does not affect your Windows system, this is why I do not use Ubuntu to boot Windows.

12. Other References:
*) The space allocation of my WIN7:
1) System reserve: 100M (active, primary partition) NTFS
2) Win7 system disk: 40G (boot, primary partition)
3) Application software: 40G (primary partition)
4) Entertainment: 97G
5) Learning: 140G
Space remaining: 148G
*) My Ubuntu space allocation total:148g
1)/partition 20G
2)/home 127G last minute
3)/swap 1G first points
