Create a 5g partition on the mobile hard drive, which is used to guide the installation of win7, which is very fast and convenient.
Preparations
- One mobile hard disk
- A win7 ISO Image File
- Decompression tool (RAR or zip)
- Current System (Windows)
Step 2: Create a partition
Enter the current system, insert the mobile hard disk, right-click"Computer"Select"Manage"And double-click"Storage"And double-click"Disk management (local )".
We recommend that you repartition the mobile hard disk to create a 5g partition to store the image and decompress the file, and use it to guide the installation of win7. So, first delete all the partitions on the mobile hard disk (delete volume), and then create a 5g partition (select the NTFS format, the remaining space is free, ), right-click the partition, and select"Mark this partition as an active partition". In this way, the 5g partition becomes the active primary partition, because I have already set it as the active partition, therefore, the "mark this partition as an active partition" option in the image is displayed in gray (optional ).
Step 2: Get the image file
You can use tools such as WinRAR to copy files from the ISO image of Windows 7 to the active partition of the above mobile hard disk. The root directory is enough. It is best not to save other files in this partition.
Step 2: Activate as a boot Partition
The active partition of my mobile hard drive is g disk. Then, click the taskbar"Start Menu", Click"Run", Input"Cmd"Press enter and enter the following statement in the DOS window to activate the above active partition as the boot partition:
G:
CD boot
Bootsect.exe/nt60 G:
Bootsect.exe/nt60 G:/MBR
Bootsect.exe/nt60 G:/Force
Step 2: restart and set BIOS
Finally, restart the computer, press F12 to select the boot location, select the USD-HDD, then will enter the familiar win7 system installation interface. Of course, some machines press F2, ESC, or other buttons, and some machines need to go to the BIOS to set. Different computers have different BIOS settings, you need to select according to the actual situation. If the global boot is modified instead of the boot location, remember to modify the boot during Automatic Restart during the installation process. Otherwise, the system will go to the installation guide again. The following are some BIOS settings for your reference.
This is the first type of BIOS."Hard Disk boot priority","First boot device".
This is the first type of BIOS. after entering the system, set the boot option.
