Use Windows or MacOSX fonts in Ubuntu

Importing fonts from Windows

For Windows and Ubuntu systems, follow these steps:

Open the Windows partition in Nautilus and find the Windows/fonts directory. Select All ttf fonts and copy them to the clipboard.

Go to your Home directory in Nautilus. Create a file named fonts, right-click "Paste", and copy the file to this directory. Rename the fonts directory to ". fonts ". Now you can use the Windows Font in the application. Note that the ". fonts" directory is a hidden directory. You must select "Show Hidden Files" in the "View" menu of Natuilus.
