Vbox guset additions function enhancements

 

The virtual machine uses vbox, and SSH is used in the past. copy and paste in SSH. Without SSH, It is troublesome to switch between the virtual machine window and the clipboard.

 

Yesterday, Google found that vbox has an enhanced installation function, guset additions, which has the following functions:

(1) smooth mouse movement between the client and the host

(2) file sharing with the host

(3) share the clipboard content with the host, that is, you can directly copy and paste the clipboard content between the host and the client.

(4) use a sound system, or you cannot use a virtual machine to listen to music.

(5) synchronize time with the host

(6) automatically log on to Windows

(7) The window size can be automatically dragged. This is also a useful feature, because the installation interface cannot be fully displayed when oracle is installed through a virtual machine, and it is inconvenient to squeeze it together.

 

Installation Method:

 

 

The vboxguestadditions. ISO image is loaded into the optical drive of the virtual machine. The file is in the installation directory of the vbox.

 

After loading, you can install this additions in the virtual machine. It can be installed automatically in Linux or windows. After installation, You need to restart the virtual machine, otherwise, the function cannot take effect.

I like this tool for three features:
