Some software in windows cannot find replacement software with similar functions in LINUX. If dual systems are used, you need to restart the host repeatedly to switch the platform, if it is a virtual machine, it will certainly achieve twice the result with half the effort. Even when local area network environment testing is required, virtual LAN is built using virtual machines for testing, which is cost-effective and convenient.
Based on my hobbies, I use virtualbox (vbox) as a virtual machine software on LINUX for two reasons:
First, vbox is a virtual open source software. It does not need to be pirated, and it does not need to be difficult to find and crack registration codes.
Second, vbox has relatively low requirements on host hardware configuration. It runs VMware and vbox clients on the same host, and the speed of vbox is significantly faster than that of VMWare.

The following describes how to install, configure, and use the LINUX Fedora 8 platform. In fact, the installation packages are similar to those of the main system platform during download.
Environment requirements:
VirtualBox requires the support of kernel modules. Therefore, you must first install kernel-devel in the system. If not, the fedora system can be installed using yum (for other releases, see "support for external kernel modules" in UserManual ).
CODE: sudo yum install kernel-devel |
