  1. Set up shared folders as shown above
  2. Mount a shared folder

    sudo mkdir/mnt/shared

    sudo mount-t vboxsf d_drive/mnt/shared

    where "D_drive" is the name of the shared folder that was previously created. OK, now Fedora and host can transfer files to each other.

    Into the directory/mnt/shared, and sure enough to see the contents of D disk:

    sudo umount-f/mnt/shared
