1 Preparing for pre-installation 1.1 hardware environment preparation

Note:

This guide is a virtual CD-ROM, virtual floppy drive for example, such as the use of physical optical drive, the physical floppy drive installation system operation is the actual system CD-ROM, floppy disk instead.

1.2 Software Environment Preparation 1.2.1 Preparing the operating system installation files

Download the installation files to the VMware website, or use the CD-ROM installation files.

1.2.2 Download Driver installation package

1. Log in to the Http://enterprise.huawei.com website.

2. From the main menu, select "Service Support > Software downloads > IT > Server".

3. In the navigation tree, select the name and version number of the target server, such as "Blade server->tecal E9000 series->tecal ch121-> tecal CH121 v100r001c00spc120".

4. Download the driver installation package with the "sles-drivers" field in the software name.

Note: There are two files, including the "Sles-drivers" string, with the sha256 checksum file.

1.2.3 Download Driver Companion table

Select the name and version number of the target server under the Software downloads node in the main menu of the Http://enterprise.huawei.com website, such as "service Support > Software downloads > IT > Servers >" Blade Server->tecal E9000 series->tecal ch121-> tecal CH121 v100r001c00spc120 "and then download the documentation that includes the Driver companion table.

1.3 Environment Configuration

2 system Installation 2.1   Installation Initialization
