Connect to a virtual desktop
Step 1: Install the VMware View Client
Step 2: Open the VMware View Client, enter the IP address of the View Connection Server, and click "Connect ".
Step 3: Select continue when verifying the certificate creden
Note:
You can skip this step by setting group policies.
There are three options. If you want to ignore the certificate check, you can select No Security.
[No Security (No Security)]: View does not perform certificate check
[Warn But Allow (warning But allowed)]: a warning is displayed when the following Server certificate problems occur, But you can continue to connect to View Connection Server
[Full Security]: If any type of certificate error occurs, you cannot connect to View Connection Server. View will display certificate errors to users
For Windows clients, if you do not want to configure this setting as a group policy, you can set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ VMware, Inc. \ VMware VDM \ Client \ Security \ CertCheckMode value (DWORD) name is added to the following registry key on the Client computer to enable certificate verification
Use the following registry key values:
0. Implement [No Security (No Security)].
1. Implement [Warn But Allow (warning But allowed)].
2. Implement [Full Security].
If you have configured the group policy setting and CertCheckMode settings in the registry key, the Group Policy setting takes precedence over the registry key value.
Step 4: Enter the user and password with the permission to log on to the virtual desktop.
Step 4: After successfully logging on, you can see the desktop of the user. You can select the connection Protocol (RDP/PCoIP) through the inverted triangle on the right ).
Double-click the desktop pool name to connect to the virtual desktop.
