1.2 Vmware Workstation 11 installation of Kail Linux illustrated tutorials

No1. Open a virtual machine

No2. FILE-New virtual machine, select Typical.

No3. Select the path where the image file is located.

No4. Set the virtual machine name and storage path, it is recommended not to install on the C drive, name it as far as possible, do not use space.

No5. Choose the allocation of disk size, not too stingy here, allocation of 20G does not mean that it is immediately occupied 20G, just give the virtual machine a usage limit, you can even allocate 40G or even more.

No6. Select "Custom Hardware", set the memory size to 1G, the default is 512M, generally recommended 32-bit system is set to 1G size, 64-bit system is set to 2G size.

No7. When you are finished, power on the virtual machine starts automatically, select Install, and press ENTER to continue.

No9. Select the time zone and follow the steps below.

No10. Configure the area and keyboard, select Default.

No11. Start loading components into the installation process.

No12. Enter the host name, default Kail, if you choose Default, prompt hostname does not meet the requirements, re-enter a host name, continue.

No13. Set the name of the name, enter it here, continue.

No14. Set the root user password and confirm the password, continue.

No15. Make the partition setting of the hard disk, select the Partition Wizard type to set.

No16. Into the installation process for nearly half an hour.

No17. Configure the Package Manager and select the default yes.

No18. Install the Grub boot loader.

No19. Remove the installation package.
