Error:

The import failed because the E:\ system \ie10. WIN8.FOR.WINDOWS.VMWARE\IE10-WIN8. OVF did not pass OVF specification conformance or virtual hardware compliance checks.
Please click Retry to relax the OVF specification and virtual hardware compliance check and retry the import;
Or, click Cancel to cancel the import. If you try to import again, you may not be able to use a virtual machine in VMware Workstation

Reason:

This is due to different ovf versions, and the VMware workstation built-in Ofvtool tool only supports OVF version 1.0, resulting in incompatible

Workaround:

Online: After downloading Ovftool 4.1 from the VMware website, install the files in the installation directory and overwrite them under the Ovftools directory in the VMware Workstation installation directory. (Pre-backup recommended)

Fact: Get a copy of the Ovftools directory overlay installation is more convenient
