VMware Workstation Pro 12 Create virtual machines (install Ubuntu)

In order to create a virtual machine under VMware Workstation, tossing for the most of the day, now the relatively smooth way to create records:

1. VMware Workstation Home Click "Create a new virtual machine" or click "New virtual Machine" under "file" to bring up the "New Virtual Machine Wizard"

2. Select "Typical" Configuration and click "Next"

3. Select "Install operating system later (S)" and click "Next"

4, "Client operating system" select "Linux", "version" can not be modified, or the corresponding version (version selection has no effect on subsequent actions), click "Next"

5. Name the virtual machine (this name appears under "My Computer"), set the virtual machine creation location (this location is the physical machine disk location), click Next

7. Click Custom Hardware (since Step 3 does not add a mirror), this step adds a system image, turns off the Hardware Customization page (settings can be changed after installation is complete), click Finish

8. The virtual machine that you just created appears under "My Computer" under the table, click "Turn on this virtual machine" to start the installation

9. Select the desired language and click "Install Ubuntu"

10. Click "Continue"

11. Click "Install Now"

12. Click "Continue"

13. Select the appropriate time zone and click "Continue"

14. Select the appropriate keyboard layout and click "Continue"

15, set the user name, password (set here as the login system after use), after the setup is complete, click "Continue"

16, wait for the system to install, this process will take some time

17, installation completed, after restart use
