VMware under Ubuntu Mount USB drive

Today in the virtual machine Ubuntu mount USB flash drive, found that the mount is invalid, in Ubuntu can not find the mount point. The removable device bar under the VMware Virtual Machine menu also cannot find the mobile disk. Check the information, found that the original VMware related USB service configuration issues.

System Services Configuration: computer-management-services and applications-services, locate the VMware USB Arbitration service in the list of services, right-click to set Startup Type to Automatic.

Once setup is complete, turn off Ubuntu and VMware, restart, find your mobile disk on the removable device on the Virtual Machine tab on VMware, and click Connect.

At this point, the USB stick mounted successfully. You can view the mount information of the removable disk again under Ubuntu.
