VMware Vsphere 6.5 Setup virtual machines to start automatically with ESXi 6.5

After you set up ESXi 6.5 host startup, the virtual machines under that host also start automatically as follows:

1. Log in to the vSphere Host Client, click Manage-Systems, auto-start, edit settings, start set to Yes, start delay and stop delay default is 120s, can be adjusted according to your own needs. The stop operation defaults to power off, the recommended setting is shutdown, wait for the check signal to be set to Yes, and finally click Save. Results 1 host settings are shown.

2. Right-click the virtual machine that you created in the left navigation bar, select automatic start, increase priority, and 2 virtual machine auto-start settings are shown.

To this VMware Vsphere 6.5 setup virtual machine with ESXi 6.5 auto-start setting is complete. We can view the automatic boot order of the virtual machine, click "More virtual Machines" in the left navigation bar, the 3 virtual machine auto-start sequence is shown. If the auto-start sequence is not displayed in the table, you can select the auto-start order by right-clicking any column in the table, and the 4 setting displays the column.

Finally, restart the ESXi 6.5 host to see if its virtual machine is automatically started for verification.
