Fault description:
The developer said that 192.168.xxx.216 could not be connected and ping would fail.

This is a linux Virtual Machine virtualized by a physical machine. When you log on through the vsphere client, the following error is displayed on the operation interface:

I asked the developers to say that they have not done any operations over the past two days, it is estimated that the disk is full because of the unexpected log growth. Generally, the disk is full and cannot be pinged.

It is estimated that this is caused by the bug of the vmvm.
When you restart MySQL 216, the system still reports the same problem. If the disk space is insufficient, add a disk volume to MySQL 216. However, when you add and generate data, the system reports that datastore1 space is insufficient. Therefore, you cannot add a disk to MySQL 216.

Therefore, it can be analyzed that the disk space of the physical machine where the virtual machine is located is insufficient. In the past, there may be no alarms. Today, an alarm suddenly triggered the last restarted server to go down. At this time, I saw that another virtual machine is useless for the time being. I closed it directly and restarted 216 again. The same error was reported.

I want to shut down the idle virtual machine, but the disk space occupied by the idle virtual machine is still not released. Right-click the virtual machine, select "clear from disk", and restart 216. This will enable normal login, ping is successful.

Summary: when the physical machine allocates disk space, if the total disk space allocated by all the virtual machines> the total disk space of the physical machine, an error may not be reported at the beginning, however, an error will be reported after running for a period of time, and the virtual machine that was recently started will report the error.
