Preparation Tool:

Production process:

The process is divided into three steps, the first step is to do custom mirroring, mainly put the virtio into the mirror; the second step is to install Windows 2008, which is mainly mounted to identify the hard drive, and the last step is to install the driver under Windows, and the network card has two other virtual devices.

Making Mirrors

Create a folder, such as d:\2008\win2008,2008 image decompression put this inside, and then build a virtio in the win2008 (D:\2008\win2008\virtio), the virtio of the image extracted into the inside.

Open ImgBurn, select the Mode-->build in the menu bar, and select the source folder and destination ISO address.

Modify the contents of the Options tab to change the file system value to UDF.

Modify the contents of the Labels tab and fill in the UDF: Server2008_virtio.

To modify the Advanced label:

Install Windows 2008

Create a new VPS, run up, put 2008 of the Mirror mount up.

After the mount is successful, reboot, select CD-ROM to boot, and install Windows 2008.

The installation process is the same as the normal installation, the hard drive will not be seen during the installation and the driver needs to be installed. To the following step, select Load driver, drive the path in D:\virtio\viostor\2k8\x86\, different virtio version may be the same path.

After the installation of the driver, you can see the hard drive, installed Linux partition can not be formatted, can only delete, delete and then new.

The next step is no different from a normal system installation.

Install Windows 2008 Driver

A total of three devices need to install the driver, network cards, RNG Device, Balloon, depending on the operating system, the driver path is different, this example to Windows 2008 Standard as an example, if the driver installation error, restart will be blue screen, has been unable to enter the system.
