Gray is a smooth, neutral color, it is very beautiful in web design. It does not excite very strong emotions (except perhaps in a bad mood), while red, orange or purple will. Grey has a positive and negative meaning. Grey matter (gray matter) is linked to IQ and brain power. Gray is often used as the background color of a collection (whether online or offline). It allows photos, illustrations or other color elements to go to the front and provide a solid backbone for the portfolio.
